JANITOR

Job Function:

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented FULL TIME JANITOR to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in commercial buildings. You'll work independently to ensure the facility remains neat, organized, and in top condition, providing a welcoming environment for all occupants.  Carpet care experience preferred!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain common areas, restrooms, offices, and other building spaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean carpets as necessary.
• Empty trash cans and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including windows, walls, and furniture.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
• Ensure that all cleaning is done in compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Carpet Cleaning

Minimum Qualifications :

• Reliable transportation.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Floor care experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently
• Ability to climb ladders or step stools when necessary
• Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, and vacuuming
