HVAC Installer Continuum Technical Services focuses on preventive maintenance and solving customer's technical building concerns, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical and energy management systems. Position Summary: Under indirect supervision, provide assistance and have the ability to perform assignments independently related to the installation, alteration and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Systems include but are not limited to HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and electrical.  Qualifications and Required Experience for Installer: - Must have minimum of 2 years experience in the installation of commercial or residential HVAC equipment including but not limited to packaged rooftop equipment, split systems, air handlers, condensers, pumps, boilers, fans, cooling towers, VFD’s etc. - Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer, handheld communication device and have knowledge of CMMS software. - Possess competent knowledge on the methods, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment. - Able to read blueprints and schematics to aid in troubleshooting analysis. - EPA 608 Universal Certification & R-410A certification desired. - Experience with pneumatic & DDC controls, and computerized building automation system controls is a plus. - Must be a professional with strong organizational, communication, planning, and interpersonal skills. - 10 hour OSHA Certification desired , other documented proof of safety training is acceptable. - A state boiler installers and mechanical contractors license is a plus. - Must possess a valid driver’s license. - Physical requirements include climbing, stooping, and frequently lifting 50 pounds or more.  - Ability to safely install and operate rigging and lifting devices. Day Porter Job Function:    The Day Porter is the face of Continuum Services and REDICO to the tenants and public. Beside a goal of a maintaining a high quality, polished and neat appearance throughout all restrooms and common areas of the building, the Day Porter is a customer service representative also.  The important part of this role is to cheerfully greet, assist, and guide employees and visitors to our buildings while maintaining a polite and professional attitude.     Duties and Responsibilities:   - Wipe excess water off vanities, empty trash and restock paper supplies throughout restrooms. - Check/maintain all restroom hardware for proper operation. - Check/maintain all restrooms and clean toilets as necessary. - Dust all restroom surfaces, including partitions and furniture as required. - Clean/polish all wood, metal and glass finishes. - Vacuum and mop all restroom, lobby and common area floors as necessary. - Clean common area wall finishes. - Pick up trash throughout exterior grounds, sweep building entranceways and empty ash/trash receptacles as necessary. - Empty trash throughout common areas and tenant spaces as may be required during the day. - Clean all building entranceway glass. - Assist in snow removal services at building entryway as necessary. - Assume additional duties as delegated by Management. - Coordination and communications with Engineering / Maintenance Staff as necessary. - Daily coordination and communications with tenants, customers and building occupants. - Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives as relates to building operations and practice safe work habits. - Be courteous, neat, clean, and in proper uniform; always representing the Company in a professional, moral, and ethical manner.  - Respond to, prioritize and complete assigned work orders via the MRI Workspeed work order tracking system. - Additional duties as requested by management.
